Brittany Rizzo, DVM

Brittany is the Director of Animal Health for the Akron Zoo in the Rubber City – Akron, OH! She graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Animal Science and the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical School with a DVM in 2012. She completed zoo internships at Reid Park Zoo in Tucson, AZ and the Toledo Zoo in Toledo, OH. In Brittany’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (daughter, cat, and husband), snowboarding, camping, and traveling.
Mark McMahon
Owner
Mark graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been in EMS for over 18 years, working as a paramedic in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio. He enjoys traveling, biking, and reading when he’s not playing “Octonauts” with his 3 year old daughter.
